I know I don't blog, I've realized that my time is taken up by running around town, running after a baby, and taking time to enjoy moments with my husband. But something made me stop dead in my tracks, examine my life and take a breath. Then all I wanted to do was write. I wanted to share this flood of emotion that started pouring out of me.
I found out today that a woman that has always been this huge influence of feminine strength was taken down by a stroke. She doesn't drink, she doesn't smoke, she's always been super active and always on the go. She ate right and was so intelligent. Then BAM a stroke, a brain hemorrhage takes her down puts her in ICU on a ventilator. And then this evening her daughters had to decide to take her off the machine and sit and wait. They watch her fight because Dawn is a fighter! She's fighting this moment for her life that she will more then likely loose. Even if she were able to breath on her own and come around, she will never be the same Dawn that she once was. She won't be able to go running, or go on cruises, take her dogs out for walks and play with them. Will she be able to do her magicks? Will she be able to tell her girls how much she loves them? Will she be able to hold her grandchildren that will be here so soon?
Dawn is only a few months younger then my mother. I don't know how I could handle loosing my mom right now. Frances has always been my support, I've turned to her so many times for so many things, and now I need to be there for her. I wish I could be there next to her, holding her hand letting her know I'm always there for her. I can only hope she knows I'm there in spirit. I know she knows that. I know she does.
I can't get my thoughts straight, they are all running through me, I can't keep them straight long enough to get them out on here. I want to scream, I want to cry, I want to laugh. I want everything to go back to how it was. I want Frances to be happy in her news about her pregnancy with her mother. During my pregnancy my mom was the best thing to help through all the anxiety. She has all the advice, and memories. How is she going to get through this all with out Dawn?
It will be fine, God will take care of us all, and answers will be given. I pray it will all be ok.....

Tiem to play catch up!
OK I'm going to try and be a much better blogger this year. So here's what's been going on in our life so far.
James:
Work has been extremely busy lately. The shop has had a lot of work come in and he's been going in early and staying late. As much as it sucks not seeing him, paying our bills feels much better. He has been dealing with clients more and more which is just another step closer to taking over the whole thing. We think that we are finally going to be able to remodel our bathroom. With all the Home Depot gift cards we got for Christmas we can finally get it done. I can't wait. I will post pictures of before and after once it gets taken care of.
James is also excited because he got World of Warcraft: Cataclysm for Christmas. He's already up to level 85 and is raiding with his friends like crazy. I myself have a character started, and it's a lot more fun then I thought it would be. James is really good at playing only when I'm at work, or have something else to do. Other then that it's all about family time.
Carleigh:
Well I finally did it, I quit Roadhouse. It was hard, and very sad for me but it was something I had to do. I wasn't getting the respect or the opportunities I deserved there so it was time to say goodbye. I found a great part time job though. Working at the Gold's Gym Daycare! I get to bring Ellie with me and spend time with her and I don't have to pay for it in any way. I love it so much!!! I'm just waiting for the right time though and I'm going to go to the Elase Academy school and learn to be a medical esthetician. I'm shooting for this summer!
Elijiah:
She's 9 months now and she seems so grown up!! She stands on her own and is even starting to take steps. She just seems too young to start walking, I just got use to chasing after her crawling everywhere! She's not a huge fan of baby food, she would much rather eat whatever we are eating. She has also started waving bye-bye to everyone. It's so cute even on movies if they say goodbye or anything she starts waving to them. She was very very spoiled during Christmas. I guess that's just what happens when you're the only grandchild on one whole side of your family. She got cute clothes and lots of toys. I feel extremely lucky because we haven't had to go to the doctor or hospital at all, except to get her normal check up. She's extremely healthy and I think she got that from James. All in all it's a complete joy to have her in my life.
King's and Butlers:
Mom and Jim went to Italy again for New Year's Eve. This is the second time they've gone and I swear if it weren't' for Elle I think they would move there. They also went and saw the Green Day Musical in NY 6 different times, oh wait maybe it was 8... Either way, they are really living up their time together these days.
Alexis is now working with Starbucks. He location of Lone Star closed and she decided to just move on with a different company. She seems to like it so far, and since she's a coffee fiend I think this will work very well.
Annika is working in the fraud department at Wells Fargo and likes that quit a lot. She's been dating Adam for over a year now and I'm just waiting for the day she comes home with a ring on her finger. But for now they are moving in with each other at least.
Naylors:
Steve and Sheri have been very busy with the refugee's. Steve is still the President of the Karen branch, and Sheri is just as involved as if she were president too.
Mike is in Afghanistan... we all miss him like crazy but at least we know he's coming home to visit this month for 2 weeks. Then we won't see him until he comes home again in September. Hayden will be baptized this month when Mike gets home. Hailee is cute and calls Mike on her cell phone all the time.
Dawna and he family are always so busy I don't know what exactly is going on with them. Tahnie is due February 18th and she's having a little girl. The adoptive family named her some unique B name that's really cute I just can't remember. She seems good though, having trouble sleeping but she's still very active in school.
Caroline is still in North Carolina. The girls seem to be doing really well, Natalie and Katy are in school so Caroline only has Lauren and Summer at home with her.
Teresa came out to visit right after Christmas and it was soooo great to see her! She brought baby Glenn and he is just adorable! Elle absolutely adored him. I wish he lived in Utah so they could play more. She and Big Glenn are busy with their sign company and seem to be doing really well.
So that's the quick over all of what's been going on lately. I will add pictures later, and maybe even a video!!

I really shouldn't be in charge of this thing...
So I'm extremely bad at keeping this thing up to date... But I'm going to try harder!
As some of you may already know James and I are expecting!!! I'm due on March 31st! I'm kinda hoping to be early and have a St.Patrick's day baby. We are also waiting until the delivery to find out the sex of the baby. I just find it more exciting and a sense of catharsis after going through labor to hear those words after wards "IT'S A ....." So we are very excited for that. We are still in the process of converting our computer room into a nursery, but things are going slow. James is building us a BEAUTIFUL changing station cabinet. So I think we're going to wait to get that in first so we don't have a ton of furniture to move around. Since James is Mr.Fung Shui I'm sure we will be doing a lot of that.
Work has been very good lately. Usually around this time the shop gets really slow, but it's been thriving and staying busy really well. At least from my perspective it has been. So it's always good to have James busy at work, and to have his parents not worrying. Work for me has picked up a lot too. Holiday season means a lot of large parties coming in, and that means lots of money for me!!! I love it though, my job is always a lot of fun. And all my friends at work are quick to help me out anytime I need to sit down or have someone carry something for me.
Speaking of friends I couldn't be more thankful for the ones I have right now. They have all been so great to me and for me during my pregnancy. It's as if this child isn't just mine and James' but everyone of my friends' as well. I have my dear ones from out of state coming to visit just for the occasion, and all my boys at work Garrett, Danny, Nate, and Bobby are like surrogate fathers and husbands to me while I'm at work and take good care of me. And my girl friends have been so great with support and giving advice and just an ear to hear about all the stuff going on. I love them all!!
Family is doing VERY well. Mom and Jim just got home from New York, that was their christmas gift to each other. Mom has been battling her vertigo again, but for the most part she's been ok. Jim had a scary time a month ago with his gallbladder and liver. He had to get his gallbladder removed and it was pretty much dead inside his body and dissolved inside him when they went to remove it, and part of the necrosis had spread to his liver, and when they scrapped that off the liver something happened and the liver started leaking. So he was in the hospital for a week!! But it regenerated and self healed and he was much better!! He just can't eat reeses peanut butter cups for a while. All that is over and past now though and they are doing wonderfully!
Annika is dating a really nice guy named Adam... he's perfect for her. A gamer and very intellectual but makes great jokes and is very sweet. It's good to finally see her happy. You can tell her whole confidence is way up!
Alexis is busy running Lone Star, ever since she became General Manager it's EVEN HARDER sometimes to see her. Pretty much we have to go into the restaurant to see her. Which isn't bad since she discounts our food. Which is good when you aren't loaded with money, which James and I are not.... tee hee.
The little sisters are doing well!! Sasha is working with her mom at Jaylynn photography, and she's become a slumber party distributor. It's been very handy!!! She's about to move into a new apartment with one of her friends, and she seems to be moving into a very positive direction in her life.
Cheyenne is graduating high school early this January. I'm so proud of her! She's got so much going for her, I hope she follows it all the way through. She wants to open her own day care some day soon, so she's doing some kind of internship after she graduates, and that also means free day care for me once I have the baby!!!
I don't have any new pictures as of now... We keep forgetting to take it places with us. But with the holiday's and everything coming up I'm sure we will have lots more. So I will try and remember to post them soon. We just want everyone to know how much we love them, and we are so grateful to have you all in our lives. Have a very safe and happy holiday!!!

Our 24th of July weekend
So we had a nice 24th of July weekend. We went camping with James and his brother Mike and his family. Mike works the canyon patrol as a cop and reserved us an AMAZING spot in the Spruces for us. So we went up Thursday afternoon, and had a great time!! Then on the 24th we really didn't do much.... we helped my manager Kenzie move to Payson, then made dinner at home and watched movies. It was really nice to just relax together and have a night in. Sunday we went to Memory Grove and walked through the trails and just layed under a tree by the creek. It was so nice!!! I thought I'd share some of the pictures from camping though, only because I think my niece and nephew are super cute in most of them!!!!

GOOD NEWS!!!!
James and I are going to be home owners! We are so excited!! We got a cute 1200 sq ft house, for 137,000! It's move in ready, but needs just the right remodels. It's on Blair St, right next to Fitz Park. Or Duck Park to those who know it. We close at the end of the month.

This is the front, we want to make those two windows bigger so we get some nice light in the living room and the second bedroom.

We're going to paint the house and the door, and take off the ugly screen door.

This is the second room, we're going to have it be an office computer room, until someday becoming a nursery.

The doorway out of the second bedroom

Our tiny bathroom, but since James remodels bathrooms for a living room it'll be cake to make new and pretty

Master bedroom with his and hers closets

The entry room living room. It's really big, and we want to knock out that wall to open it up into the kitchen.

Here's looking into the entry room from the kitchen

So excited for a mudroom!! We're going to re-tile, and James is going to build a cute cubbie thing to put shoes and coats and stuff.

Our kitchen. All the cabinets are original from the 1950's... James is going to remodel this first.

This is the family room, with a great fireplace!!!

This is the family room looking at the dinning area, with the kitchen on the right, sliding door goes out to the garage and back yard.

Our cute back yard with a Narnia lamp post!!
We'll keep everyone updated on when we move, and let you know when our house warming party will be.

what have we been up to???
So here we go, catching up.... again. We've been busy bee's together. A-Line is starting to pick up again, so they were able to hire back one of their guys, but only as part time, and only a few days a week.
Roadhouse as been very busy busy, I can't wait for mothers day!!! My dad Ron was able to get his hands on s ton of pearl necklaces for us to give away to the mothers who come in. I'm super excited about that!! We've been doing a lot of community charity work and a lot of caterings lately so I've kept busy with all that.
We went to the Britney spears concert!! And that woman knows how to put on a show! My friend Shawni was sitting really close to me, and Parker and Kennedy were like accross the arena from us. It was so good to see all of them! Here are a few picture from the show.

It was pretty much incredible. We love our Miss Brit. We also went to see the musical Wicked. It was so incredible!! The woman who played Galinda was amazing, she reminded me so much of my friend Maci! We got all dressed up to see it, and we had great seats. I absolutely adore doing things like that with James.
We are also BOTH doing Pride and Prejudice!! The show is coming together so well, it's funny cuz we play brother and sister! The show opens May 22, so I'm very excited for that. We have both worked really hard, and I'm stage managing the show as well so I've been having to take care of a lot of behind the scenes issues.
Friday is James' birthday, he'll be 24... It's so exciting. I love growing up with him. We're going to get a couples massage, then we'll go to the Melting Pot again, he just loved it there, then we're seeing Miss Saigon that night. I have wanted to see Miss Saigon for ages! I love this musical so much. It will be nice to make his birthday special, just as it was last year. But nothing will compare with last years....
